You won't get a DIN-sized radio in the dash of these trucks without cutting the dash.
I used a Dremel tool to cut the dash on my son's '69, back in '99. When I sold the truck in '01, even without a radio, there was nothing said about the hole. It was a clean hole, thanks to a steady hand and the Dremel tool. I used the sleeve for a pattern, and saved the pieces, although they were small. As for me, the Kenwood 801 seems to be headed for my truck.

Those are nice! I recommend that for these trucks. It seems like they all show a very small area of "knob hole" when finished. I didnt know those were available...

I like it, though it would have looked cooler cut trapezoid-aly in fashion with the gauge panel and glove box door.
I agonized over cutting mine as well... but really, a patch panel, some grinding and a paint job can return it to stock if you ever want. For me, it was worth it.
