92' 5.7 3/4 ton ?????'s

The all of a sudden(and you never know when) you see the SES light come on, at the same time the truck starts a slight miss "kinda", and shortly there after your getting slammed into a lower gear. Even while at speed. IE: 65 on the cruise, hey the SES light just came on..... BAM !!! 65 in OD to 65 in LOW gear, motor screaming !

Being that there are no trouble codes stored when this happens, it sounds to me like the PCM is failing, losing power or loosing ground.
