Will this fit my truck?

My truck is an 80 C10.

Will this fit my truck as a bolt on?

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/pts/493938429.html

Mine has the round headlights, and for the most part, mine is identical to this, except I have a billet and I want stock.

What does everyone think?

Re: Will this fit my truck?

the 80 has square headlights with the exact same set up so it will bolt up but wont be the correct headlights the grille itself will fit in fact it will all bolt up

I have the round headlights. From what I'm told, not all 80's had square lights, only the silverado packages did.

I was wondering about this. I talked to a guy at the gas station that had a '80 like mine with the same trim package (custom deluxe 10) but his truck had round headlights, maybe it was a mid year change.

Re: Will this fit my truck?

If your truck has the round head lights it will bolt right in,If it had the square lights you would have to change the head light buckets and the marker lights,I believe!!!!!!!!!!

I never thought about that. Mid year could be correct as well. I remember hearing somewhere that the squared were only offered on the silverado trim package, but I could be wrong. Maybe someone else in here can chime in on this one

Re: Will this fit my truck?

copied from 73-87.com

1980
1980 was a slightly odd year. Rectangular headlights were now included on the Silverado models, while the rest still received 1979 style round headlights. New "egg crate" grille, below eye line mirrors, 8-track and cassette options, and cast aluminum wheels. Dual exhaust was also offered on the 292 six-cylinders. The NP203 transfer case was discontinued. All K-series trucks were outfitted with part-time NP205s. The 400ci V-8 was no longer available in K10s. The K20 series was aligned more closely with the K30 series to avoid the use of catalytic converters in 8,600-pound GVWR models. Fuel prices were rising and that negatively impacted truck sales.

Re: Will this fit my truck?

Well I'm waiting to work out a deal on a grille from Kevinr1970, but if that doesn't work I'm picking this one up. He's still got it as of today.

If you pick this up will you be selling your billet grille?

Yes I sure will

I'm getting a new stock grille regardless, it's just a matter of finding out when. I'll sell it to ya cheap if you still want it when I get rid of it.

I'll see if I can find a picture tonight. I'll get one tomorrow if not.
