3-speed to a turbo 400?

I removed a 3 speed manual with a 6 cly & am getting ready to install a turbo 400 with a V8. I have the auto steering column and automatic cross member and I am getting ready to install these into my C10. Do I use the existing brake pedal assembly or is it the same as the brake assembly from a automatic truck. When I remove the clutch pedal assembly is something availbale to cover the clutch pedal hole. I'm sure this is real simple to some of you guys, so could you share the wealth please. Thanks

Re: 3-speed to a turbo 400?

When I converted my 71 stick to automatic I just removed the clutch pedal and left the brake pedal in place. There are two kinds of covers for the clutch rod hole. One is a snap in plastic cap and the other is a metal cap that is fastened on with two small sheet metal screws. The plastic cap is hard to find but the metal cap can be made to work in either application.
