Need help with tbi stuff (fuel pump)
Im working on my cousins 1988 k5 blazer 4x4 it has the tbi set up and she not gettting fuel to the system. My first thought it fuel pump in the tank, which is still an option becasue i can not hear it running. UN screwed fuel turn truck on and got no fuel. But im looking for one thing before i go dropping this tank.. Where is the fuel pump relay (autozone sells it but i have no idea where its sitting. also if there is a fuse for the pump anywhere.
IM at a loss all my trucks are mechanical and only had one like this and never had a issue from it any help would be great thanks.

Re: Need help with tbi stuff (fuel pump)
I'll check my wiring diagram when I get home from work tonight and let you know what I find.

Re: Need help with tbi stuff (fuel pump)
The relay should be on the firewall, passenger side, should be gray or black in color. the fuse moves around based on the year. I have seen them right next to the relay have also seen them in the main fuse block. To figure out what you need to fix first find the relay. unhook the wire loom and check for power. If you have power then the fuse is good. next I would put the new relay on it and see if it works. (you can't loose here. if the pump is bad you have to replace the relay) If it does then you were lucky enough to have just fried a relay. if not then get ready to drop the tank. One thing to remember is that most electric fuel pumps die because the fuel filter is plugged.
