Trucks TV this Sunday
Trucks TV on Spike was installing an Air Ride Technologies front and rear air bag system on a 66. Man it looks so nice and I have the fever now. I think I will use the system minus their expensive compressor setup. Has anyone used this in a truck and do you have pics. Anyone have a cheaper route I may look into. Budget is my concern right now.

Re: Trucks TV this Sunday
Yep...........it was a good show and I too know have the "air-bag fever"
Unfortunately it will have to wait for quite some time. I have to do a disc brake conversion first.....and then finish building my motorcycle.....so it could be a while Did you see the show where the shortened it from a long wheel base to a short? Way more work than I would want to undertake. |

That episode was a re-run. I can't wait to see what's next. I wish they would stick to that project.

Re: Trucks TV this Sunday
Tom,
Piece together a system at ***************** you'll come out ahead price wise. Slam Specialties RE7's are very popular for these trucks (63-72) for front and rear. Also spend some time searching and reading in the suspension area. Any specific questions regarding airbag systems will get good responses there too. |

Re: Trucks TV this Sunday
It was cool, except with the cost of the blasting and powder coating you would figure they would of mocked up and modified the frame BEFORE they get it powder coated.
