Re: What did YOU do this weekend?

well i installed the trick flow top end kit that i bought, for the second time . the first time the cam went flat and the timing chain cover leaked oil like a siv. so now , i finally got it to run right , the cam didnt go flat , but now i have a worse oil leak than i did before. i used a 1 piece felpro gasket that had kickouts on both sides of it for the dipstick tube but on the opposite side of the motor ( the side w/o the dipstick) where the gasket kicks out it leaks oil real bad. so in other words i guess i get to pull the motor for the third time in 3 weeks ,fun...fun.. oh yeah its a SBC 355

Re: What did YOU do this weekend?

I went and look at 59 Elcamino on Sunday. My neighbour is interested in it. Hopefully he will get it. It has a straight 6 and powerglide for now. I drove it and it could barelly move. Small block and 350 trans will be swaped later on.
