Speedo Cable

OK,
I need a longer cable and housing. I need about 6" more to make it right. The old one is in to much of a bind and it jumps when going slower than 20 MPH. Would like to find one longer.
New if possible. Junk truck or car.

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Speedo Cable

They had several lengths at Advanced Auto/AutoZone (forgot which one I bought at) when I replaced the one on my 70. I just bought the longest one and it was about 6" or so more that the original cable.

Re: Speedo Cable

you should not need a custom cable if truck is not modified.

Re: Speedo Cable

speedo attachment on the 700r4 is a little farther back. I had the same problem....just get 4x4 speedo cable...it's a number of inches longer.

Re: Speedo Cable

Thanks guy's, that's the problem SactoJim,
700-R4 has it streched to the limit and it bounces at the lower end. 20 MPH or less. 4x4 cable Kool!
BCOWANWHEELS,
Done that it helps but it still bounces.
