I told my wife I was going to repaint my truck two tone and she said I was a fool. I showed her the picture of yours and she was surprised at what great fashion sense I had. Yours, imo, is one of the nicest trucks I've seen..."Let It Be"

Bingo! Right On centsless! I personally like the factory two-tone with trim. I am sending mine to the body shop (pick up this Friday) and I am staying with the CST trim and two tone green just the way it came from the factory...but...with that said...It's your truck Jcentsr6...It's your $$$...and what is great about these trucks is they look great in most any paint color combo. Do what makes you happy. You really can't go wrong. Differrent themes for differrent schemes. Good luck. Whatever choice you make will be the right choice. PS...your truck is one nice looking truck.

Keep the colors and trim. Very nice combo. You could still shave the markers, but with the trim, they look good.

I like em shaved smooth.....but I do agree with the crowd on this one. If you shave it , go solid color, or have an air brush "artist" paint the trim on for a 2 tone job.

Here is what I figure....I will paint and keep the trim look on the truck. I will have to buy a SWB truck and shave it (at some point) Then I can have both looks. Old School (lwb) and full custom frame layin, wheel tuckin, full shaved C-10 (SWB)

That seems like the only way I will be happy! Now where do I get the $ to get another truck?

Keep the trim, its a beautiful truck just the way it is! I will say someone on here posted a pic of the upper and lower trim painted on and I thought that looked pretty sharp.

I suspect you are just searching for compliments...but here goes...if it were mine, I wouldn't go near a paint shop with it. However...on closer inspection...is that a rust spot above and behind the Custom 10 badge? Is that front wheel well scratched? I guess that is why you are painting...I love those colors!

The trucks right front fender is damaged...the paint shop can not match paint due to age of paint on the vehicle...also the hood is damaged as well. That means full paint job to correct issues.

And by the way...I am supprised about the compliments everyone has given (and thank you for them) being I dont get many looks/compliments during the short time I dove last it last year.
Maybe there is not that many Truck fans where I live.

Looks like maybe some folks out there, aside from the truck people on this site, just don't know a classy looking ride when they see one. Just look at all the huge trucks being sold in this day and age. Huge trucks, huge wheels/tires, etc. Every time my son sees a truck all jacked up with monster everything, he suggests the owner is trying to compensate for a lack in size elsewhere in the drivers life.
You've got a beautiful ride. Don't change it!

Leave it as is. If you had to go out and buy trim and what not that might be another thing to think about. I love your colors and 2 tone looks better with trim. I like the clean look on a solid truck. Trim imo suits dividing one color from another, looks lost on it's own.

the only way you can take the trim off is by painting it all one color, maybe if you took the trimm off and extended the white down the rest of the way, that would be alright, but it is easier to keep it so you don't have to fill in all those little holes with a welder and grinf on perfectly good paint.
What all repairs are you having done to the pickup it looks good to me?
