Going Together
So, my drive shaft has been shortened, and is getting balanced! I've drawn up a new carrier bearing support that I'm waiting on the shop to bend. I should be able to install & drive my beast tonight!!!!! but I'm not holding my breath on this...
FWIW, I was drilling (2) holes in the floor of my cab last night to route a U-bolt for my parking brake cable that now rubs the driveshaft. Anyway, drilled (2) holes, and then jumped up in the cab to see where the holes are... Seems I forgot that there was an amp for the stereo under my seat... So, the radio doesn't work anymore, but my amp has (2) new ventilation holes in it! Woo Hoo! I started in on installing the shift levers. Thought I needed to bend them, but as I was driving in to work this morning, I realized I have adjustments in the linkages that I need to max out before I go bending the shifters. Then I still have to make sure the front Dshaft I got is going to fit & replace the U-joints on it! Gettin there slowly!!

Re: Going Together
I had to do the park brake deal to, I used a short eye bolt. My cable is actually frayed in a spot from rubbing on the drive shaft, it won't be rubbin no more.
