Or a rusty old beater with a real good powertrain Beaters that don't run are sometimes free. I think if you make good choices, and are patient, and motivated you have a good shot at having a truck that drives well, and has that look, but there will be some rough edges, and it won't compare to some of the dazzling wonder trucks you see here. At that price I would expect to do a lot of work yourself. A lot of people spend 2K on wheels and tires, and feel like they got a bargain.... Happy hunting, and welcome to the board.
