Suburban Wheel Openings Different?

Just had my new fender skirts arrive for my 64 Suburban, and took them to the garage to see how they're going to look. However, they're about 2 inches too long. The seller claimed 60-66 Fleetside long and Panel trucks. I assumed the panel truck wheel openings would be the same. Guess I shouldn't have assumed! Can anyone verify the difference, or do I have the wrong skirts? Thanks!!

Re: Suburban Wheel Openings Different?

The skirts were listed for 60-66 Fleetside longbed or panel truck-I had no reason to assume the Suburban would be any different, especially as compared to the panel truck. I guess I'll find an old truck(F/S) to compare.

Re: Suburban Wheel Openings Different?

where is the x-tra length at? Towards the rear of the fender (going towards the door)?

Re: Suburban Wheel Openings Different?

It appears both front and rear contours are correct. The extra length occurs in the center straight/parallel area. The sellers will refund, so no problem there. I guess I'll create and send them a template.
