Bed Cover question:
Quick Question who sells bed covers for 67-72 shortbed stepside trucks. im looking for just a vinyl bed cover yet i cant seem to find any listed on lmc, gmc pauls, jim carter, or ebay. any ideas on who to check with? thanks.

There's a place in Benton, KY, that makes what you're looking for. It's called Checkmate, I believe. I don't remember their web address, but you should be able to Google it.

wanna buy it ? it has 1" aluminum angles attaches to the bed sides with rivets. The cover itself is 2 seperate pieces . each piece is made from 1" aluminum square tubing covered in plywood & vinyl. the front piece is bolted to the angle strips that are attached to the bedsides.
The rear half opens from the rear, it is not hinged, it just rotates & can be lifted out easily. There are also 2 pinball style 1/4 turn locks that go in the rear corners.

very trick set up i like it. id be interested in it but im sure shipping would be killer. but gives me an idea of how to do one if i cant find one i like. it's a very good looking cover.
