More Blazer Road Trip Pics

The board has been pretty slow lately, so I thought I would post more Blazer road trip pics. These pics are from a trip I took to Guadeloupe Canyon, Mexico. You have to drive off pavement for quite a while across a large dry lakebed called Laguna Salada. Its wide open, so you just haul a$$. The Guadaloupe Canyon is in the hills surrounding the lakebed. We camp in the canyon where there are both hot and cold natural springs. Its a real oasis in the desert!

Looks like fun! I really dig your truck. Are those the factory wheels? What size are the tires? I'm running the stock 16" steel rims with 235/85r16's. Your rims look wider than mine.

Bouncy- The rims in the pics are stock 16.5x6 8-luggers off a 3/4 ton with 35-inch BFG All Terrains. I have since found a set of 16.5x9.75 8-luggers which I now run with the same hub caps, but with Pirelli Jones Dirt Grip tires. They are really wide but with the stock look.

I really like that look too. I'm running the stock 1/2 gear, so the 3/4 ton wheels won't work for me. I've looked into getting the stock wheels widened, but it's expensive.

Hey Bouncy I have always liked you're blazer. Have you ever tried House of wheels http://www.petepaulsen.com/, He has always treated me right, and his steel wheels are cheap.

Have you checked with a company called 'Watt's Wheels' yet?
I had them do a set (granted a while ago) but I thought the price was reasonable.

Looks like you put your Blazer to good use. I love seeing all the trip pics. They really look adventurous. If you have any more pics of other trips please post them. They motivate me to get mine running. Later, Mario.
