LWB low'rd 3/5: What size tires?
I've got all the parts to lower my Lwb 68 Gmc ordered so they should be coming very soon. My question is what size tires should I buy. The truck is currently at stock ride height with 31x10.50/15 and i have a feeling they are going to look a little big on a lowered truck. I am going to run my 15 inch rims for now but by summer i want to get 17's so if any one has a good tire size for 15 and 17 inch rims let me know so i know what to shop for. Thanks

295/50/15 on the rear with a 10" wide wheel...anything in the front will fit. Check my for sale ad for the 15" wheels attached...I posted pics of the tires that came off my LWB truck slammed with bags. Hope this helps.

I'm running 295 R50 X 15 out back on 10' rims & 275 R50 X 15 on 8' rims on the front. BFG T/A's on all corners.
