Smile glovebox emblems ?

Please help me deside what to do. My 1967 1/2 ton was originally a plan jane model. Inline 6, manual 3 speed on tree, no molding, ext... All of the Chevrolet emblems outside of my truck are red. My glovebox door has a black coating on it's front with no emblem at all. Did all of the trucks that year come with the glovebox emblem? And if so, why do all the ones I see have a blue bowtie and not a red bowtie like all the other emblems on the outside of 1967 trucks? I am trying to deside if I should install a glovebox emblem in my truck or not. Thanks, any help or comments are appreciated.

Re: glovebox emblems ?

Up to you.If it didn`t have one and you want one,it won`t be original. How about a fender emblem on the glovebox door or a `55 Chevy car front fender script,or other car like`67 Camaro?

Re: glovebox emblems ?

Sorry, can't answer either question, but like 'K' said it's really up to your personal preference. If it were me, I'd leave it plain. Plain Jane trucks just don't look right with 'jewelry' like that. My opinion.

Re: glovebox emblems ?

67 plain jane trucks had a silver edge, with black "wrinkle" finish in the center. The custom or cst would have the long silver chevrolet emblem with a blue bowtie in it.
