Ochre guys... need dash paint color

I'm changing colors on the interior. With a black dash, what color is the flat paint under the windshield? Could it be flat black, or flat ochre? which is easier on the eyes? My original has a flat brownish color I assume was for the sandalwood dash.

LOL@ killer!
The dash top would be whatever colr the dash pad was in 99% of the trucks. I would personally (and plan the same) paint it flat black. Less reflections on the glass... I can't stand reflections on the glass and it drives me insane to see them.

Re: Ochre guys... need dash paint color

Was the dash area between the pad and the windshield a flat color from the factory?

Flat or semi-flat. I resisted painting mine the same as the exterior for the very reason stated above. You will get quite a reflection if it's glossy.

Re: Ochre guys... need dash paint color

It was originally a flat brown I assume to keep with the whole sandalwood color of the dash and wheel
