Smoothy Dash Ideas

Hey I have been thinking about this for a while and I want to bring out the areas that are outlined in white flushwith the rest of the dash. Just wanted your opnion of how you think it would look and by the way I am going to cut the dash to install a C/D player ! There was a truck called Sweepea it was green and I noticed that he did some similar work to his ride.

Since you're planning a CD in the dash, how about instead of smoothing the radio indentation (which would make your CD stick out), change the size of the indentation so that the CD is countersunk into the opening? I think this would look better than a flat area with the CD mounted since they tend to stick out 1/4 or so.

As for the heater controls, are you talking about getting rid of them altogether or do you mean to smooth the area out but still have them there? If the former... great! I believe that's what ProSt68Trk has done with his dash.

That is a rad idea about the C/D player I like it. I plan on leaving the heater and if it keeps snowing (I do snow removal $15 per hour )I may consider Vintage A/C it will cost me 2000 Can. Ouch!!! And I want to keep the controlls but make the center section all flat Make sence???
