Hmm after looking over some of that it's a shame they arent offering it in ZO6 setup, if it had that i'd say go for it but otherwise i dunno it's great to have a collector edition but without all the super options and such why bother. It'll still be a sweet car but if i ever get the $ for a vette it'll be loaded and super fast i think.

Hell yeah I'd do it. Maybe downsize your other rides a little. She will forgive you and if she don't think of all the others you could pick up in that 'vette! The Marines don't pay me enough for one but if only...

Phillip, What's with the vote deal? If you want it, buy it! She'll get mad but eventually she'll get over it...and when she does, you'll STILL have the 'Vette!

I like RANDYC-10's response. Remember "He who dies with the most toys wins".

How do you afford to carry insurance on all those vehicles? Wish I had your problem?

Cool

The point here is that I already have a Cherry 1980 Corvette with VERY low miles. Not a scratch on it and its RED. I just want the 50th aniv since I was born in 1953, the vette was introduced in 1953, It will be 50 and I will be 50. That is it.. As for insurance, $300 for $500,000 full coverage with my driving record. As for all the dont buy new, buy a old clasic. I already own one and have had several others. If I dont get the Vette, Im getting a new 26' SeaRay. Life is short and I just want to have fun.
Thanks for all the replies.
Basically, everything in my profile has a price on it. If you see something you want, e/mail me for a price and I may have a few pictures if you are not just a lookie lou.
Thanks guys. I think since the 50th wont have all the goodies on it that I really wanted, I may just look for a low mileage super clean 40th 1993 Vette for 1/4 the price. There are 3 on e/bay right now....
