The only time I've seen it in person, it cracked and peeled back out of my father-in-law's scout. It could have been the install, though.

The kit sells for a hundred bucks, and from what I have seen, it is a debatable item. I am sure that properly prepared surfaces, AND sufficient coats would render a decent-looking textured surface. However, the one's I've seen were thin, cheap-looking attempts to duplicate a Line-X or RhinoLining. It isn't the same stuff, and it won't look the same, in spite of what the vendor claims. I figure it will take about 3 applications to approach the sprayed-on liners. By that time, you've spent $300. Not much more to get the real stuff.

I used roll on, inside the cab of my truck, wanted to keep road noise out, and stereo noise in, I would definitely NOT advise it for the bed. It came out thin. Even though the bed is much more area then the inside floor, and back panel. So if you had to roll it thinner to do the bed, You would'nt have anything.

Don't put that stuff in your truck. Under carpet it's great, but any where else you will be sorry you did it.

The roll on stuff all sucks.
They do sell a 2 part stuff. I only found it at paint supply store. Basically you use an undercoat style gun, mix the 2 parts, then quickly spray it for next 15 min, before it sets up. You need 1 mixing the cans, other spraying. I helped my buddy spray the inside of a jeep cj7. Came out EXCELLENT. A few places had issues, but that was our fault, in we didn't mix the 2 parts well enough. It comes out approx same thinkness as Rhino. Thicker than Line-X. Anything that just dries over time, not a 2 part, hurry up and spray style, will give you poor results.

I have done the underside of my cab , the inside of the cab floor, and the inner fenders with Duplicolor's product. I guess you get what you pay for. I plan on using this under my bed, but will get a professional to do inside the bed with a a spray on product. The Duplicolor is thin.

Thanks all that replied to my post I think I'll spend the extra cash and save myself the problems that seem to arise with the roll on stuff. Thanks, Dan

dont spend the cash, go to your paint store and buy mortons system, its jsut as good as the professional stuff. i have the hurculiner in my truck, its crap, wouldn't use it ever agin besides on interior. the gun for mortons is only like 25 bucks, and it has no regulators on it so its pretty simple, i bought the stuff to do my dads truck and it was like 130 with he gun, but the paint store hooks me up a little, so it might be a little more.
