73 crossmember in 68???

how hard is it to take the entire front crossmemer from a 73 with disk brakes and put it in a 68.. how does the steering linkage fit up..

what all needs to be changed??

It will all bolt up with no problems. You will have to drill 2 new holes for the crossmember but otherwise a very easy project. I did it on a 67 CHevy frame using a 79 subframe.

The only thing I would add is to use new grade 8 hardware.

I've read on here that most that do this swap, don't even use the 2 holes that don't lien up. I remember removing the front suspension from a 84 burb, and there were a lot of bolts that had to be removed. I plan on doing the same swap in the Spring.

works great - 85ish front member - some after market motor mounts need a hole to be drilled in the crossmember - bolt locations are different
