I have a set of the chevy ralley wheels on my truck, and I was wanting to get the best tire combo for my buck-any suggestions?? What is the biggest tire you can put on a 72 1/2 ton truck without the tires rubbing?

Re: tire sizes???

I believe that the best size, isn't the biggest ones that will fit without rubbing. With that said, I'm running 275-60's on 10-inch wide rallyes on the back, and 245-60's on 8-inch wide rallyes on the front.

John, please refresh my memory. On the rear do you have coils and if so, what amount of drop?

Re: tire sizes???

I asked the same thing a couple days ago -- ESLL's truck is one of the few GMC's that came with coils in the back ! (mine has leaf sprins)

Not sure of the drop -- looks like 4 or 5" ??
