Which fuel sending unit for 69?

Need to get a new one. I have a 350 now, but the truck was originally a 6 cyl. Do I get the sender for a 6cyl or the V8, or are they the same? Thanks. sb

Re: Which fuel sending unit for 69?

The two senders are not the same. The 6 cylinder has a 5/16" outlet line and the 350's V-8's had a 3/8" line. Depending on your line size up to the fuel pump, you may have to stay with the 6 cylinder or change the line to 3/8".
