Column Parts?

I installed a 1977 van tilt in my 69. When I get parts such as the indicator and shifter lever, are all of these parts interchangeable, or do I have to get this specific year model for a van? Are they the same as 67-72 column parts?

Re: Column Parts?

they are pretty much all the same. The shifter arm is shorter, the font/print on the lens isn't the same,a dn the levers aren't the same either. Otherwise, it sho8uld all be the same.
Last time I was askin the dealer for stuff for the tilts, I said 72 C 10, then I threw out 81 G 20 and that was at least in his computer.
Still no parts, but at least it was in the computer.

Thanks guys! Where is the cheapest place to get that kind of stuff? Everywhere I look it seems to be expensive.

Re: Column Parts?

Good, cause I just looked at LMC and just the shifter lever, indicator, turn signal lever, etc, was $150.00.

personally, I prefer the car style on those levers. They are chrome and black, and have smoith plastic instead of the ribbed ones like the trucks have. I grab them whenever i see them, but they are getting harder to find in these parts.
