67 Panel in NY???

Well we leave out tomorrow to pick up our latest addition in Newburg NY a 1967 Chevy 2wd Panel. Question is what the hwy's like and forecasted snows for the area down I-70 I-76 through PA, and I-81 PA, I-84 in NY. Any snow forcasted to roll in off Lake Ontario?
For those interested heres a few pics of our new baby,,er I mean Panel (What can I say ours are family to us)

and side

Inside

Without a doubt I am pulling that instrument cluster. and hood, then motor and trans and straight into the body then paint, was amazed to find this condition in NY.

Hi Paul, nice looking panel. I know what your saying when you call them family. Hope you and your family had a good time over the holidays, and all is well. Weather here in the Northern Ohio area is doing real good. It's above freezing right now, with only a small chance of lite snow this evening. If you need any help or place to stop on your way through please feel free to give us a hollar. Talk to you latter, Tom. Phone # 419-872-8220.

hughnews1 & Cheesewagon thanks for the info!!! No way am I coming anywhere near I-90 though, thats just far to close to Lake Erie & Lake Ontario. I know how weather through that area goes. 1 hour they are saying all clear and 3 hours later your driving through the beginning of a 1' or 2' of lake effect snowfall.
Thanks for the invite Tom but with us running I-70 most of the way you'll be 100-150 north of us I believe.

Hi Paul,

I was up that way today. 50 degrees and sunny.
Colder for the weekend but no snow predicted for the weekend.

Why can't we local guys ever find stuff like that?
I'd have to drive to Indiana to find a truck like that.

Hope all is well with you and the family.

hughnews1 well we hit Lake effect snow squalls about 3pm in Ohio on I-71 and was blessed with it until I pulled over at 1am in Scranton,PA. The snow was whiteout conditions for over 1/2 that time with us following 40'-50' behind a semi during these times we were able to see his taillights dimly to know we were still on the interstate and not in the median or ditch as there was no way you could see the road or signs and guardrails on the side of the road as it was total WHITEOUT conditions for well over 1/2 the time it snowed. We pulled out at 6am Sat. and I hit NY and was loaded and headed back to the wifes sisters in Endicot NY for a visit. Thankfully we had a pleasant drive home that began Sat. night at 7pm-2am and finished off the drive home Sunday from 8am-2pm. So were home now with the Panel in the drive and ready to begin its restoration-rodstoration.
PanelDeland to tell the truth I am considering leaving her Black and Blue, Black/Midnight Blue or paint it all one of those solid colors. It means we most likely won't make it in many magazines once were done with it as they prefer shooting pics of Bright vehicles ( Red, Yellow, etc...) but I build to make me happy not get my trucks in the magazines. ( Though its always nice seeing one in print
