Question Control Arm Shaft Kits

Anyone know where the best deal to get control arm shaft kits. Is it best to replace the shaft or can i refurb it and then install with new bushing ends, if this can be done where can i find just the bushings themselves.

Same question. My shafts and bushings are in great shape and look great after I cleaned them up and painted them. Just looking for new seals. LMC sells the lower seals but not the uppers for the 1/2 ton.

Did you just order the 3/4 ton seals and use them with your 1/2 ton shafts and bushings? LMC only offers the 3/4 seals for the upper shafts now. Thanks.

I couldent find them at any parts stores, ended up getting them through lmc when they showed up they were forign made. Try early classic they usually carry good parts.

Re: Control Arm Shaft Kits

For the entire shaft kits, it's hard to beat Rockauto. When I get to my suspension parts, I was going to try printing out the Rockauto prices and see if Checker/Shucks would price match...save myself shipping and time.

Thanks for the info all. I have used rock auto before, looks like the way to go. Hope everyone had a safe and happy new year!

Thanks for the link. They sure do have some good prices. Any reason not to go with the cheaper Spicer stuff?
