JMO,
If you still find it over full after the above mentioned I wouldn't recommend touching it. I would take it back to where you had it serviced and ream the manager then make them do it. If you have no drain plug the pan will have to be dropped to drain some out (not too many have those fancy oil suckers) so a new pan gasket will be needed to prevent leaks.

Yeah, I checked it HOT and LEVEL. They just out too much in. I can pull the speedo connection and it will POUR out. The guy also dripped the fluid ALL over the inside of my fairly clean engine compartment, including the absolutely freshly painted inner fender wells. Really sloppy.
