Power steering pump

I have what i think is a problem the owner befor me put the power steering pump low on the driverside of the block now it is blocking the timing mark tab and now i cant use my timing light. Is there anything i can do please help.

umm my time mark is on the passager side. i'd like to see this beacue theres only one place where it can bolt i thought

I have found what looks like the timing tab its not on the pass or driv side its right in the middle you can see it between the water pump and the block if you look stright down behind the water pump. is that an odd place for it and will it work there ?
