Re: Legit '72 SWB BBC Cheyenne Super

This is truly a rare truck if it has the floor board in 72. They all but stopped putting those in by 69/70. You see alot of them at shows but if they are like me the owners could not find a steel floor worth putting back into their truck. Very nice truck.

My 72 sht wd bed is a low option truck but has a wooden floor bed. I had also heard rare for late 70 71 and 72 models but since mine wasnt a full out Cheyenne Super I just temporarily tack welded a later model bed floor with my stock wheel tubs so that If I ever had extra $$$ I could do a wooden bed.

Re: Legit '72 SWB BBC Cheyenne Super

Thanks, Slammed1. I got lucky. It was advertised as a "Cheyenne" with only a front shot. When I arrived to look at the truck it was all I could do to contain my excitment when I saw the little "Super" on the side. If you looked through all the pictures, you probably noticed the cab corners have a little fudge in them, but it is otherwise perfect. Clearly garage kept and never used as a truck. I would like to return it to its original paint scheme sometime. Since it's made it this long as a basically original truck, I don't plan on altering it.
