pics of the new 84swb

Here is the $500 84 swb silvarado I just picked up.. Absolutly no rust.. need a new fender and door. I have a spare of each so I lucked out there. It runs good but the trans is shot.. ***edited by moderator***I really don't have the spare time or space to rebuild this trans.. I will if I have to though.. Plans are to get the trans in, duel it out, redo the interor, redo the a/c, and paint silver berch matalic to match my 04 z71... I am glad I found this one, that way I don't have to rush to finish my 82 swb and I can build it the way I want it and take my time.

It is shifted a little.. NOT BAD but a lil.. I have a complete nice front clip off a 87 burban and the doors. I am thinkin of just swappin the whole clip instead of just the fender.. And the one drivers door. I am not worryed about the body.. I got a good friend that I traded a mustang body I have to do the paint and body on this thing. So thats already taken care of.. I picked up a good used 700r4 today, I am gonna try and find the time to install it this weekend. Then I am gonna build the original trans in my spare time and build a stout 350 outa my parts pile for it and replace the 305 and used trans with fresh stuff prolly next summer. I also lucked out, the rear in this thing is a posi!

Re: pics of the new 84swb

82c10- a buddy of mine just sold an ablsolute crap box of a 74 chevy longbed for 1100 the first day it was for sale. Things might be different up in Chickasha, but down here the uneducated river rats pay a pretty good coin for the old junk (especially a "hotrod" shortbed). 3000 seems about what everyone is asking for a truck like that in similar condition, and that is what I based my earlier comment on. Would I pay it, no. But should we put together an OK club... YES, pm me if you want some info.
Spudz- sorry for the hijack

Re: pics of the new 84swb

550.00 for a 73-87 inthat good of shape ,AMAZING! sTILL have a hard time with the differece in price of these & the 67- 72,s ( which would bring 5500.00 , not 550.00 & as far as im concerned the 73- 87,s make just as bad a stereet cruiser than the 67- 72,s .

Dont get me wrong , I would love to have a 71- 72 , but the differnce in price , in my opion is rediculous.
