Adjustable track arm
Well I went over to my buddies shop to use his air tools and started putting the Classic interprises adjustable track arm on. Well I got the brackets installed but my exhaust on the passenger side is in the way of the bar so I have to have it moved or cut it myself and leave it.
What do you think. If I cut it it will be right over the rear end before it drops back down. I'll try and get pictures sometime when under it again.

Re: Adjustable track arm
Well I went out and cut the exhaust. While I was at it I noticed the driver side u-bolt was loose. Huh I torqued it I thought. Well I tried to retorque it and the nut and U-bolt stripped. I kept the old ones and lukely it had enough threads to work. So I got the bar on and will take some pictures tomorrow. I was to tired to mess with it.

Re: Adjustable track arm
I learned a couple of things while doing it also. Put the truck on the ground and it needs to be just like it will ride. (Derections tell you this also) Place the passenger side in first and I used a strap that I use to tie down stuff in the trailer (Rachet type) to pull the bed over to get it all lined up good. I measured and got a 1/8" differance between the two sides. Then stick the drivers side in and bolt it up tight.
I wish you all could have seen my 14 year old's face tring to torque those trailing arm bolts to 215 ft.lbs. I'll have pictures this afternoon.
