What torque converter stall speed should I get??
I have a 350/350 with 4.10 rear end and wanted to upgrade to a higher stall converter to improve the launch of my truck...I was wondering what stall speed i should get? Thanks

What are the specs on your cam?

unless you are planning a larger cam down the road, you wont need too much extra stall. I would say something in the range of 2000-2200 should do you. Good luck.....crazyL

you want the stall to be around your max torque rpm..if you ahve astockish cam..max torque will be real low..1800-2200 and run out of rpm around 4000-4500..if put a 3000 stall, then you would only have a 1000-1500 rpm range to use..now if you had a cam with a rpm range of 2500-6000 rpm, and max torque at 3000, then a stall converter of atleast 3000 would be a good choice. Also the steeper gear and more torque the engine puts out the more stall you will get out of an advertised stall converter.
