Can you identify these bucket seats?

They look to be mid 70's but I'm not sure. Anybody?

I have a pair the same exact style only brown vinyl. Someone told me they thought they were Camaro, but I don't have any way to verify it.. Maybe a guy could find some interior pics on the net. If you find out somewhere other than here post it up.

Re: Can you identify these bucket seats?

The height of the brackets will tell if they`re car or truck seats.

73 to 77 chevy truck or blazer I had the same ones out of a 73 truck. Take a picture of the seat tracks.

Re: Can you identify these bucket seats?

With the right seat cover kit a good Upholstery guy can make those look exactly like 69-72 buckets. I will post some pics of mine when I get them back.

Re: Can you identify these bucket seats?

From my old memory archives as an auto upholsteror they are from a Chevy or GMC Blazer 1973 and up. One of the seats should have a flip up mechanism under it for the passenger side.

Here is a picture of one of mine (excuse the dust and bird poop). I'm pretty sure the second picture is one of the seat bases. Neither of them tip forward and I would say that style base makes mine van seats.

Re: Can you identify these bucket seats?

Thanks for the help. They were (are) on Craigslist local in Orlando and the price wasn't bad. I thought they would be a nice change from a bench if they were correct.

Re: Can you identify these bucket seats?

Look exactly like the ones out a 76 blazer. If you do decide to put 69-72 covers on them, you have to trim the foam on the backs on top. These have a wider top than the 69-72 buckets. Nice find, btw.
