Blue - my heater box does have the slot and circle cut in it - but, even if I did put a choke down on the manifold, there is still the raised part on the manifold that prevents the box from seating down all the way and the linkage would not be lined up with the carb...

Cyclone - does your new 250 have the offset air cleaner? If so, I'd be curious to see a pic of the heat riser (stove) box.

So, there must be a different stove for different years? OR, do I need A) to mount my choke on the manifold AND B) get a different intake manifold???
Still lookin' to see if anyone can shed any light on this. Thanks all.
