4wd and 2wd .....

are the 4wd frames and 2wd frames the same? i have a crew cab i wanna convert to a short bed 4wd, i was planning on getting a 4wd drivetrain and putting al the stuff on the 2wd frame. will it work ?

The frame rails are the same, but the holes are different. You have to make templates and drill all the 4x4 related holes. Best to have a complete donor truck for this.
