68 GMC C2500 Fender mounting

Hey guys, my buddy and I are working on taking the front fenders offmy truck and i would like to know where all the mounting bolts are located on the fender for removal. I found top 2 near door and removed all the bolts from the under side in the wheel well. I also removed 2 bolts from front in grille area.

If you have any pictures of where all mounting bolts are or are good at explaining it go to town! lol

Thanks guys!

Re: 68 GMC C2500 Fender mounting

i know some guys on here don't like LMC, but i must admit, there are some really good pics in it.

so here's a link of the pic, showing the fender mounting, excluding the grill.

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/cb/full.asp?page=23

and as far as the fenders mouting onto the grille, if i'm not mistaken, there are just two bolts on top, and two more on the bottom. there not hidden, and if you look, they should be pretty accessible.

one other thing, don't forget the two bolts that go vertically into the fender from the inner fender. they're right in the crown, if you will, of the inner fender. reach up and feel around, can't miss 'em.

and...i think that's about it.

any more questions, just ask. myself or someone else is bound to chime in.

-Sam.
