Lets Talk Hitches
Does anyone know of a company that sells a hidden hitch for a roll pan'd 73-87? I am going to start pulling my trans am to the track rather than driving it. Any help is appreciate.

Re: Lets Talk Hitches
A frame mounted Class 2 receiver would be the way I'd go. Then the only part you'd see out the back would be the 2" square tube of the receiver. If you got one that was the right height, it could be mounted in such a way that the receiver block went through the roll pan instead of under it. Then you could install one of those bowtie third brake light jobbies in it when not in use for hauling.
Just an idea for a custom install that would make it look like you didn't have a hitch....

Badd...
Try Sir Michaels (http://www.sirmichaels.com/display_part/119.php) Class 3 hidden hitch. It may work with your roll pan.

Re: Lets Talk Hitches
I custom build all my hitches. The plan for my truck with a roll pan is it will be flush with the pan behind the tag. The tag will have a spring loaded hinge mount that will swing open to the driver's side then my extended receiver slid in place.
Mr Johnny law will still be able to see my tag but when not in use no one could tell there is a hitch under it.

Re: Lets Talk Hitches
I have a hidden hitch and a stock bumper....the slide in is a bit longer than a "normal" one to clear, hence lowering the capacity. I generally just tow a small utility trailer.

Re: Lets Talk Hitches
Be warned Hidden Hitch is a brand name. The Hiddend Hitches are mounted below the bumper. The cost reflect style. A true true behind the roll pan hitch is going to set you back nearly $200 bones. I'm looking for a behind the roll pan type too.

Yeah...mine's isn't a Hidden Hitch brand as it sits BEHIND the bumper and is hidden behind the plate.
