Blazer Windshield frame

Hey everyone hows it going i have a dumb question i finished my blazer not to long ago and ive been driving it. Well my blazers really rough and everytime i hit a bump the top moves a little bit well off hand were the top bolts into the windshield frame the nuts on the inside of the frame sheared off i guess. I'm not sure but i cant take the drivers side screw out and im wondering if everyones else top moves around i have all the bolts in and all the weather stripping it still moves around up front its wore all the paint off by the brackets

Re: Blazer Windshield frame

Sounds like your body mounts could also be bad allowing everything to flex.

could be cause i went out in the country to play a little yesterday and it sounds like the whole vehicle flexes but the topper actually moves around alot more than the rest of it

Could also be torsion box or cab support problems if you have rust down there.

Re: Blazer Windshield frame

Are you bolted up front with all FOUR mounting spots?

Two through the visor mounts.
Two directly into the windshield frame via the inner metal mounts.

i only have the two in the middle i dont have the sunvisor/sunvisor brakets in im still lacking alot of stuff but since the middle screws are loose in the frame i suppose the sunisor brakets would help
