Your humble author is, well, humbled and honored.

Here's an even more spectacular view of Nick Greenwood's full cover spread, and while we're at it, enjoy the first chapter, on the house! (needs Adobe Reader, but who DOESN'T have Adobe Reader these days?)

OK I read the first chapter and though I'm quite a bit older than the people the age group is aimed at I am already a big fan of "BEAR".Any 'being' that takes that kind of care of his 'burb is probably gonna make an impression. It's also educational since you have taught the proper way to care for good paint.

No one is ever too old for a good book.

Re: Burb on a children's book?

That is way to cool! Nice to know that "normal" people write books & do stuff like that. It's usually people who are a few fries short of a happy meal...well they probably say the say about us spending time & money on old truck

If you ask around at church, at work or among the rest of your friends, you'll probably find someone who's published a book (and DIDN'T pay to have it published). Problem is, folks like Oprah Winfrey and organizations like the American Library Association don't want you to know we exist. If your book wasn't published by one of a handful of big media conglomerates or if it wasn't featured in Oprah's Book Club, you're pretty much a literary non-person.

Sad but true in The Land of The Free and The Home of The Brave.

Still, the book's finding a home in a few good libraries. Guess they didn't get the memo.
