Ok Kurt, here you go. No forward progress lately, but I can't work in a trashed shop so this is what I did this weekend. I think I may have some time to get something done in a constructive way tomorrow.

I hope my garbage man isn't a Gen 1 Blazer fan, if so I may see some tears.

Re: Got Rust?

That is one stunning hot rod! Any more info? Was it built for a local customer? Despite being a Ford , I'm lovin' that Cobra lump with the three deuces and the nice, clean job on the instrument panel. I'm not that fond of the ultra-slick, techno-geek look that many builders are turning out these days. This one is just right. Thx for sharing the pics!

I don't know a lot about it because every time I stop by we either talk about my sons Corvette or my Blazer. The only things that I know are that most every piece on this thing was hand made, as far as brackets, seat frames, hood hinges(the hood opens from both sides), etc. I believe the owner is somewhat local, about an hour away, and I know he has over $200,000.00 into it. Don(the painter) is quite talented, much like several of our board members. I've been following this build for over a year and a half.

Most excellent progress!!

Those pics hit alot closer to home than seeing a sexy finished street rod.

Very inspirational, thanks.
Way more than I got done over the weekend by miles.

Thanks, I'm actually fired up to go out and work on it now...next step is to get the frame and axles ready to take to Media Blast, and then I will start to go forward with progress. I've got to get my butt into gear because there is a rumor of some of the board members stopping by this summer...heard anything about that?
