New pics -1/13/08
Here's the pics of the trucks with the new tires and drop springs. It is a 2/4 drop kit, but the actual drop was more like 1/3. I guess my springs had some sag in them. I was pretty sure the fronts were, because it already sat lower in the front than any of my other stock trucks. I'm very pleased with the look of it. It's not too low, and that is something I was worried about. The handling and ride quality is much better. Now I gotta get around to putting the front sway bar on and ordering me a rear sway bar!

For the sake of comparison, here's a before and after side shot.
The last pic was taken yesterday with the new tires, but before the drop. It really shows the difference in altitude!

Your truck looks great period, with or without the drop. It is VERY subtle looking. The average person would miss it.
Looks good.

Re: New pics -1/13/08
Thanks! Besides new paint and little things around the edges, this truck is pretty much how I want it. It is really become my daily driver. I have a 2000 Z71 that gets driven once or twice a week, and unless I'm moving a car or playing around with the dually, I'm in this truck. I toyed around with bigger rims, going lower, etc., but I have a '71 SWB fleet that I think I'm going to go more radical with, and keep this one basic and very driveable/useable. Before paint, I'm going to get a Vintage Air kit to get the A/C going and I'm going to put a stereo in it. I'm about 90% sure I'm going with hugger orange and white two-tone, but this red is growing on me!
