Re: Check out this pic!

Columbus G/Guys is always a great show. There was a few 67-72's at it. That one was cool with flat paint and one I saw is what changed my mind on the 69. Not gonna copy just change it up some. Thats the reason I like the big shows, always a idea or change that fits me.

Re: Check out this pic!

Even that trailer has a "retro" vibe.I think it's the squared off fenders and the wheels.Cool shot of nice rides.

Re: Check out this pic!

The "Bubble Top" GM cars were lighter than the '62-64 cars that introduced the convertible top profile for a roof line. My favorite is a '61 Pontiac Ventura bubble-top, with a 389 Tri-Power and 4-speed, with 8-lug wheels. Paint it Honduras Maroon with a black vinyl interior, and I'm all set!!

There's a friend of mine that has the a '61 Pontiac bubble-top, but its a 421-4bbl car, auto car. It has the 8 lug wheels and its black with red guts. I have been trying to beat him out of it for about 10 years now. It has been in a shed for over 20 years and is very restorable. As much as love the Chevy's, the '61 Chevy had nothing on the '61 Poncho IMO!

Re: Check out this pic!

I've always wanted a '61 bubble top - Chevy or Pontiac. That guy's living his dream and mine, too.
