Good Stuff - Big $$$ compared to the other stuff, sets up faster than most so do not lollygag around
Worked well for me, I got from a Guy that just finished up his BB 69 Camaro and is a GM Mech. He likes the stuff so I figured I would give it a try.

I agree. Very good stuff! I recently used it on 6.5L diesel valve covers (which use no gasket….just sealant) and a NP205 transfercase. No leaks and it didn’t require much sealant. Just a small thin layer does the job.

It is expensive! Like $13 for that bottle or something like that.

I work at a cadillac and land rover dealer. We get the gray right stuff for our land rovers. I was very sceptical at first of this sealant (being a huge gm sealant fan (also good stuff)). One day we ran out of gm sealant, so I had to try the right stuff. That was 2 years ago and I have not went back to using gm sealant. Works great, I have used both the black and gray stuff. I prefer the gray, but the black is still very good.

The right stuff is awesome... but, on the down side, when it's time to scrape the stuff off, you'll wish you never used it, esp if you are doing it by hand.

I used the Right Stuff on my diff. in place of a paper gasket. I have also used Ultra Copper for headers instead of gaskets. I think they are great products and work extremely well.

right stuff is awesome but PLEASE read how to open carefully haha, i told my boss it was probly just like the tube stuff and to prick the top with a nail, whoops we had a huge mess but managed to get the diff cover sealed and back on, and it doesnt leak but now we have a garbage can full fo the stuff

did you know RTV will cure faster if you spray it with a little water? I leaned this a few months ago when I was at a seminar put on by Permatex.

Someone I work with said he would spray some spray silicone on the gasket surface, then put the RIGHT STUFF on, so that next time it would come off easyer.

But I may have found my problem.

Thanks 60-66 Nut. That was the problem. 6 years, 100 cases of oil, and pulling it out 5 times.... later and it doesn't leak anymore. WOO WOO! I can't believe it.
