Stereo in glovebox pics. Please.

I'm helping my buddies dad set up his stereo in the glove box of a 72 GMC (non a/c). He still has the original stereo in the dash. Anyone care to share how they set theirs up? Thanks.

This is how I did mine. I never did cut the hole way back when(and sure glad i didnt) and had mounted a old Concord in the hole and kept the am radio. Then it came time to "upgrade" and the new decks just wouldnt fit without cutting the metal. so back went in the am and fabed up a glovebox mount. I see both sides to the cut/dont cut dillema, M2C to each ther own but at least you have the choice.

That looks clean. What material did you use to make the box. That almost looks like Corean or granite.

he just used metal and painted it. i just ounted mine in the box with velcro strips until i get the deck i want.
