Dumbo Mirrors w/ LEDs inside

Has anyone ever seen for sale the dumbo mirrors with LED's inside for blinkers? I know that it is not stock but thought it would look cool.

I didn't know that anything like that existed for the 73-87s. Got a link for them? ...Joe

never seen anything availible and most likely never will be for 73-87 mirrors. i know they make the universal leds add ons, but the led arrows go on the outside of the mirrors.

I've been thinking about this very same thing myself. To look like an O.E.M. option you'd need power mirrors from an '89-'91 model Blazer, Crew Cab or Suburban. Un bolt the head from the mount (3 torx head screws on the underside) then replace them with mirror heads from Muth Mirrors for a 1992-1999 model suburban then follow the instructions to wire them up. They even have kits to install heated mirrors as well. Although I'll have to do some more research on them before deciding if thats something I want.
Here's a link for muth mirrors.

Re: Dumbo Mirrors w/ LEDs inside

I have never seen them either but I think it would be nice to have something like that. I wonder if there were some LED's mounted behind the mirror if the would show without a special kind of mirrior. I don't think there would bre any problem running the wires. I think they could easily go through the tube and into the door.
