I see a truck that looks Like KILLER71 on Barret jackson

I just saw it about 5 minutes ago in the staging area. same color and it looked like it had custom wheels on it. I hope they show it go through the block. I wouldnt think it would be killer and deffinately dont wont to get anybodies hopes up but I thought if killers owner saw this thread that he might wont to turn on speed channel and see if it has any simularities that look familier.

I noticed that truck looked to have a painted wood bed, was that how they came from the factory? I never noticed that before on our trucks.

Some did and some didn't.... but while rebuilding one you have the option of going wood or steel just by changing a few parts (front bed panel, crossmembers...)

That truck was very nice! I just happened to catch it. I NEVER thoght I'd see a truck like that at the B-J auction...but they said it was the 1st day so stuff like that comes around. Kind of like the 454SS and Little Red Wagon that came next.

Hope mine will look that good soon!

Re: I see a truck that looks Like KILLER71 on Barret jackson

Saw the auction last night... It was interesting listening to the commentators. When the bidding got up over $30K they were going on about how the price didn't surprise them and that these "old" trucks were very collectable and have been for a long time. After bidder's fees on top of the $36,500, they said the truck would cost the buyer around the $40K mark. This says a lot about where the value of our trucks is going.... UP.
