How did you do that to the seats???

I have a new old 72 Suburban 4X4 I am trying to get on the road as a daily driver and one of the first things that I have to add is better seats. I have read here that several people have gotten 2nd and 3rd row seats to use for the front seats. What type of frame do you use so that you have adjustment. Do some seats fit certain seat bracksts, the 2nd and 3rd row seats sure do seem more economical and easy to find.
I am looking for the 88-98 seats and so far no luck.
Thanks
Mike

2nd and 3rd row seats are WAY too short. (if they are both from a 3 seater)
I have a second seat from a 2 seater (full width) that I plan on trying to make work... another member (fine69) gave it to me and I wanna make it work in the front (no rips at all). I don't know when I'll be trying this out... but I'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see if anyone else has done it.

PUTTER did a thread on the install of an '88-98 2nd-row seat into his truck. It's really a no-brainer. Gas tank doesn't interfere. Seat has no fore-aft adjustments, though. Seat width is right. It has adjustable headrests.
