Re: lifting a 67 k10
My 67 K10 had some blocks on the rear when I got it, think it's got 2 or 3 leaves in front. Not a large spring pack at all... I have heard a later model (73-8?) P/S box will bolt up with minor fab work, we'll see how that goes if I ever pick up where I left off. Also the truck had a 71 or 72 front disc axle and it looked a few inches wider than the rear. I never measured it though so it may just have been my imagination. I'm going back to the solid knuckle, the PO didn't match ratios and totally trashed the front diff. Never saw so many chunks of metal fall out of a diff cover before...

The later model front springs will bolt in. Most Chevy's are 2" wider in the front then in the rear. |
