Re: Floor Shifter Pic & Engine Pictures
I would like to see some lokar shifters installed, thinking of going this route myself.

Re: Floor Shifter Pic & Engine Pictures
I have the b&m in my truck, I don't know if I took a pic before I tore it all down, but since I had left my clutch in when I put in the TH350, people often think it's still stick... I'll see if I did snap a pic before I ripped it apart.

Re: Floor Shifter Pic & Engine Pictures
Well, for me it is. I'm 5'8" and when I sit in the truck, the shifter is positioned so that it basically feels as if my arm should be on an arm rest when I have my hand on it. I toggle between OD and 3rd often, so I "shift" a lot. All of the Bowtie Overdrives kits I added to my truck are great, but they still can't cancel out the 700R4's "want" to shift into OD at 40-45 mph under light acceleration. I set mine on the floor so that with the seat all the way back and the shifter in 1st, it's about an inch from the seat.

Re: Floor Shifter Pic & Engine Pictures
7ooR4. Shouldn't matter. It's a 16" floor mount shifter.

Re: Floor Shifter Pic & Engine Pictures
I'm running a 700R4, I like the look of the tall stock looking manual shifter.
