81-82 2wd blazer owners I need your help!

I purchased a 87 4wd blazer to convert to 2wd, but this blazer has no axles
under it, so I have no idea where to place my rear axle. I searched all the local junk yards= no blazers!
What I need is for somone to crawl under the rear of their blazer and measure from the end of the frame to the center of the rear axle

Thanks you guys I realy appreciate your help.

Anthony

Maybe I am not understanding what you asking but the axle should have locating holes on the spring perches to match the locating pins on the springs.

If you're building a custom rear suspension,... just center the rear wheel in the wheel opening. Otherwise a stock leafspring will locate the rear housing.

Just measure 106.5" from the center of the front wheels...
